Objective: I've always loved Faye Dunaway, always thought she was ultra-gorgeous hot stuff (well, at least until she became a superannuated plastic surgery casualty...but that's another story). Must have been those hypnotic green eyes and natural sculpted cheek bones...mmmmmm. By the way, did I mention that she is a great actress? I mean, a GREAT actress! A talented, classy broad like Vivien Leigh, Barbara Stanwyck or Ida Lupino -- but still warm, sensual, feminine and vulnerable at the same time, with an edgy neurotic magnetism all her own. In her prime (from 1967 to 1981) she could blow any overpraised young Hollywood wimpette of today right off the screen with the sheer force of her talent and her smoldering presence. Here's to her! Review these two dozen films featuring Faye back when she was still at the top of her game and a genuine world class beauty! (I have decided to mercifully ignore all of the insulting roles and lousy films from her later years.) Matches 1 to 20 out of 24 |
