I've previously mentioned that people with the same number of reviews can appear in different orders in the sidebar and on the main ranking page.
I assumed that one was alphabetical and one was I.D.-numerical. However, turrell (both alphabetically and numerically later than me) is currently above me in the sidebar, with the same number of reviews. How come? I don't care which of us is above the other; I'm just interested to know what the basis is. Is it based on who reaches a number first (that would be the fairest basis of all, in fact), or something more arbitrary? |

It's about as arbitrary as you can get- whatever order the database feels like outputting them. |

Yep, and on the plus side nobody can say it's biased towards those who've been on the site longest or happen to be alphabetically advantaged. |
