Can't say when the genius that is benj first did this, but I've only noticed it today. If you search for a film, you now get a helpful reference box to help you choose the title you're after. No, I don't mean on the page that appears when you click ... this is before you click. As if by magic.

Try it. You will like it. You will worship at benj's programming finger. I know I do

I just stuck this in yesterday. It's not quite perfect yet but it's usable. I'd like to make a few more improvements if I can too. Oh, and it's not working in the fourum yet

Glad you're finding it so useful though

Do you mean when you search for a film to add to an accolade? This is a big help if so. I have often had to add a same-name-same-year film at random, checked whether it was the right one and then gone back and changed it if not.

Edit: Oh, O.K., you don't mean that. The drop-down box in the general search is a useful time-saver too, but it would be great if when selecting films for accolades one could click on 'More info' or something and get the director(s)/writer(s)/cast list.

Good thinking about adding this in to the accolades editing pages. The quick info is one of the things I'm looking at also, the big problem right now being speed of pulling this much info back.

Articles are raising their troublesome head again. When one searches for "the fall", it does not suggest Fall, The. It still finds it if one goes ahead and searches, but a lot of users might not think there is any point in doing that when they have put in the whole title. They might just assume that the film is not on the site.
