Since Northern Ireland is a region of the U.K., this clarification is a bit confusing! So it's a region of the U.K. that's not Northern Ireland or London? Merseyside then?

In specifics very close but a bit south. However, I think ChrisC is looking for a general compass-orientated nomenclature.....is that correct CC?

Well, the region would be the North-East then. If something more specific is needed, I'll say Middlesbrough.
