The only genius in the business, according to Old Blue Eyes, is Ray Charles. I'm guessing the oceanic reference is to Ocean's Eleven (or 12 or 13), but I can't get it.

The man Sinatra called "the only true genius in the business" - RagingFluff got this right! and A Texan TV star whose amorous middle name was derived from her mom's best friend - RedPen got this right! and The Queen of Manhattan and Nico's main men, including the wild one - Whipper got this right! and The rising star who debuted as Queen Latifa's niece - WildHartLivie got this right! What's the oceanic link? -- think of a real ocean. It will connect all these people, I promise - in an audio kind of way. Whipper got this right!

Is Nico's main men the Velvet Underground? Lou Reed was always a little on the wild side.

It's a great lead, Bean, that character's name is Sam, as written on the door. |

I knew Ray Charles, Jennifer Love Hewitt and was fairly sure it was The Velvet Underground. The last one is Keke Palmer. I am stumped on the Queen of Manhattan unless it is the Queen Mary, and I don't think so....

The Queen of Manhattan is what RuPaul is called. And Whipper aces the question -- they ALL have recording contracts with Atlantic Records.
PS - Nope it isn't one of my Round Britain Quiz Questions, but I just might come up with something similar once they start the series again. The producer won't yet tell me whom they've got to replace poor Nick Clark, but they'll probably start broadcasting again early in 2008.
Anyway -- Whippy, well done! It's either your go or WHL's I reckon. If that's okey-dokey with everyone else.
