Four Your Consideration - Treasure Hunt
Seán Sez: Well, it's like this, see.

--> Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
--> Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round.
--> Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later.
--> Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate.
--> You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
--> The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 p.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.

Proof of the pudding!

In the 1920s Italian immigrants Sacco and Vanzetti, suspected of criminal intent which was never really proved, got the chair.

Lemmy in for #915.

Como Era Gostoso O Meu Francês (How Tasty Was My Little Frenchman)—A French explorer gets eaten by Brazilian tribesmen.

La Vie Continue was remade as Men Don’t Leave.

InAPProriate Comedy is a horrible series of sketches directed by Vince Offer whose prior claim to fame is TV commercial huckster.

The Cloud Atlas Quintet

Concert notes:
Co-directed by Lana (previously Larry) Wachowski, the film features a principal cast who play up to six separate roles, sometimes swapping genders. The film is introduced and concluded by Tom Hanks as an elderly narrator. The number 6 proliferates: there are six narrative timelines, Frobisher is writing the Cloud Atlas Sextet for his lover Sixsmith. One of the future timelines takes place in Neo-Seoul.

Hhmmm, that was kinda my idea here, wasn't it (although David Mitchell probably got there before either of us)?

Indeed. I like that you went for an appropriate six reviews... I limited myself to a single round of FYC.

Um, yes... that was totally planned...

Now that you've pointed that out I'll have to delete one if I add another!

Apropos of nothing, I've just noticed that of the 62 and 82 films we saw at the cinema last year, only 20 were the same. Seems strange that it is as low as that.

I'd say that's extremely unusual, wonder how that happened? Scanning your list it looks like you missed a lot of main arthouse releases on the big screen - 5 Broken Cameras, Amour, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Breathing, The Hunt, The Imposter, The Kid With a Bike, Michael, Once Upon a Time in Anatolia all stick out. Even mainstream stuff like Bourne Legacy, Cabin in the Woods, Lawless, The Master, Prometheus, Sightseers... unless you saw some of them this year or the year before - that probably accounts for a few of the variations.
