The protagonist's old partner is called Donnie. Donnie Wahlberg was in New Kids on the Block and some of the Saws.

Slavik has lots of Latin-type smooth moves, which seem to extend off the dance floor, up to a point.


Pay may be docked. Opportunities may be lost. That's not the case in this film set at a port.

Both Edgar Allan Poe's poetry and his stories are featured.
