Its acknowleged in the film world that the excellent scripts get offered to the star names then filter downwards . So , this thread is intended to highlight who you think is the poverty row knock-off.

Heres a couple to start the Ball rolling

Just to add my pennys worth I couldn't pick Josh Brolin out of a crowd but i do know what yer man Angel looks like (Not that I think he's any great shakes as an actor though).

And don't get me started on the Buffyverse...

Um, no. What since Josh Brolin starred in last year's best film (not to mention In The Valley of Elah, Grindhouse, American Gangster, and, errr, The Goonies) and is now set to play Dubya in an Oliver Stone biopic, and Boreanaz is a TV actor.

You might be right - i put this one in purely because it used to make an old girlfriend laugh - it was some Ewan McGregor horror flick set in a mortuary and Brolin played " Best Mate".

I stand corrected.

That turkey was called Nightwatch. And Ali, love, David Boreanaz isn't just a TV actor, he was Angel, and I'd wager that from that, he has far greater street recognizability than Josh Brolin. I know he's got the screaming adoration of a generation of teen girls. Heck, I even had a crush on Angel.

I don't follow your logic. A chequered past doesn't make his work inferior to that of David "Mannequin" Boreanaz.

So, what was that 2004 domestic battery arrest all about? I see he's still married to Diane Lane? How can alledged spouse beating be a 'misundertanding?' She didn't press charges.
