All films in accolade 'Sight and Sound Critics Poll 2012' (demonic )

Objective: Every decade since 1952 Sight and Sound magazine has polled critics and academics worldwide to choose their ten greatest films of all time, and the results have long been considered the definitive list of critical opinion regarding the canon of essential movies. This year the poll was hugely increased to over 800 contributors who suggested over 2000 different films - and the big news was the end of the fifty year reign of "Citizen Kane", yielding the top spot for the first time to Hitchcock's "Vertigo".
