As a festive treat I decided to view a slideshow of the winning entries in the FWFR avatar contest.
As you can imagine, this is a treat at any time of the year. Almost every winning pic has been collected: a fine achievement. Some are merely clever, while several made me laugh out loud.
But I lost count of the number of pics that had been deleted by the Photobucket host. It was well into double figures.
Does anyone know the reason(s)? Are they too raunchy or could it be copyright concerns? |

They don't tell me why they censor a particular image, but looking at the winners that have been blotted out it is obvious that it's due to the lewd content. I don't like how inconsistent it is. You can find nude photography all over the site, but our drunken Santa with a red hat over his crotch is deleted?
That's just as artful to me.
I would like to move the entire collection to someplace less restrictive but haven't come up with a good option yet. Let me know if you have one. |
