Votes are rolling in folks, and thanks for that.

Counting may be a little delayed tonight because I'm out this evening, and after getting home I shall be hooking up our was-broken-now-fixed computer.

TIA for your patience

Because I hadn't been in the thread until immediately before voting, which was right before the deadline. Besides, the reviews I voted for are certainly better.

I'm still waiting on 3 voters, and it's close at the top. I'd like to give everybody the chance to vote on this auspicious occasion. Reminders have been sent.

See you later

Elizabeth Taylor has now been officially obituarised.

Voting has now closed and the votes counted. Thanks to everybody for a superb FWTO #300 - it turned out to be a close fought contest.

Alternative entries: "The Flint Headstones" "Liz and let die"

24 entries and 23 voters, including a rather public lurker.

Congratulations to MisterBadIdea for picking up his 15th FWTO win!

Time to get up here and give us a few words then choose the next victim. Make sure it's NOT someone that we had laid to rest in previous rounds.

You are now free to post any alternative FWTOs you may have.

Not that it makes any difference now, but the final outcome would have been the same with or without either Conan's or Salopian's votes. Just thought you might want to know.

I wanted to enter this week's contest but couldn't think of anything better than:

Inter National Velvet

Loved CP's "Velvet underground," though.
