The Rules
The Four-Word Tasteless Obituary (FWTO) contest is open to every member of the FWFR site.
To enter, all you have to do is think of a FWTO(or less) for the current victim, then post into the current thread. Simple as that. Also, FWTO's may be a little explicit, but nothing nice please.
Only one entry per person as per The Blevins Rule.
Voting.
If you have entered the FWTO, then you have to vote. If you do not vote, you'll lose 3 points from your total. This could mean the difference between stardom and box office poison!
You do not have to enter an FWTO to vote. Vote away. It'll be like a lurker vote!

For each round, you get to vote for your three favourite FWTO. The voting is as follows:
3) points Tom
2) points Dick
1) point Harry
not
3) Tom
2) Dick
1) Harry
or
1) Tom
2) Dick
3) Harry
Method a is in the furtherance of eschewage of obfuscation. Methods b and c are execrable. Therefore, your votes will only be counted if sent in the 3,2,1 format. Any votes received that the 6 votes are spread out like 2,2,2 or 3,1,1,1 etc will not be counted.
The 3 vote non voting penalty will also apply.

You vote by sending Chris C your votes in a PM (Private Message).
You can vote as many times as you want, but only the most recent vote counts. This lets you change your minds, you indecisive lot!
(If you are wearing any Corduroy you must award Corduroy Pillow 12 points!!!, as she was the founder of FWTO)
The Sicilian rule has been suspended indefinitely.
When the voting deadline ends (11:59pm Wednesday FWFR time), the votes are tallied and the top three places are announced.
The winner then gets to make an acceptance speech, and choose the victim for the next FWTO contest.
New victim can be dead or alive, just not one that we have already killed off. Check the previous victim/winners list below.
If the winner doesn't accept the prize by 9pm Friday of that week, a new victim will be chosen by clay.

I was taken to the hospital after having a transichemic attack late Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning and those jokers at the hospital wouldn't let me get online. I TOLD them you were waiting for my votes, but no go. Besides, I can predict the winner this round, so I'll vote but not enter. |
