When new films are added from IMDB, the cast lists are not coming with the rest of the information --

(edit) -- or, it only adds lower-tier actors

Yes, it seems to add actors who have been in nothing else and/or character names instead.

Benj, if you let me know when it is sorted out, I am happy to go through and reimport all the recently added films.

This is an odd but concerning problem. I've changed several foreign language films to their international or UK titles recently and reimported to update information had the same issue - the cast lists are vanishing.

Looking at this- will let you know when all is well again.

Okay, should be working again now. I've reimported the last few films but I'm guessing there are probably a few more affected. Let me know if it's a lot that need doing and I'll automate the reimport to save you guys the hassle.

I've fixed the five or six I could remember from the last week - I'm not sure how many others there are - certainly not many more from me. When you say automate the reimport does that mean every film on site??

Nah- I dread to think how long that would take. I was thinking just figuring out how far back this goes and reimporting everything since then.

Before I corrected it just now, this was in the affected category. I'm just noting this, Benj, in case you can see what date it was added and which films were added around the same time.

This seems like a related error so I'll note it here.

I have just reimported Aliens in the Attic and it has abandoned all of its people/date info even though the I.M.D.B. link still works.

Hi benj.

I just added a new film HERE but it omitted to include the film title.

The IMDB page is HERE.

Thanks!

Bit odd that. Something I could fix through the edit/reimport feature, so it's fixed now.
