What about having an industry celeb write the fourward?
Also, maybe a separate section on truly tasteless reviews. That gives people the option to skip.
It may seem that females won't read them, but I believe the "truly tasteless joke" books in the late 1970s sold millions. |

We're hunting for a celeb to write the foreword. Robin William's people officially said "no"
If anybody knows any celebrities who would be interested, let me know.
Bafta's Oscar-nominated editng friend Terry Rawlings was nice enough to submit a quote praising the site.
I've also managed to collect quotes from newspapers and magazines from around the world -- including the Los Angeles Times, Daily Telegraph, Miami Herald, Toronto Star and Entertainment Weekly -- praising the website.

The real person you should ask is Leonard Maltin - I bet he'd appreciate reviews that are only four words long, as his never go above about 30 in his book.
(If I could get hold of Eric Garcia, I bet he'd do it. Should I try?)

Not content with swiping the Webby Award, the guy rubs it in my face by snogging Minnie Driver on my telly on a weekly basis
Still, what better way to apologise than to write us a foreword? |

Some ideas for the Action chapter title:
If you go in for Bond films: "Four Your Eyes Only" or "Diamonds are Fourever."
If you enjoy sequels: "Mission: Impossible Four" or "Die Hard Four."
Or if superhero films qualify, how about "Fantastic Four" (perhaps this would be fantasy instead)?

How about something with 'Fource' in it such as:
Ultimate/Killer/Death/Power/Testostorone Fource

Some more help please!
I'm currently picking reviews for FWFR: The Book. I'm looking for some reviews with really good word play and illiteration, such as "Marky Mark's remarkable marksmanship" for Shooter or "Shrink shrinks Damon's demons" for Good Will Hunting. If anyone has got some clever ones they want to recommend for a mainstream movie, please PM me ASAP. Thanks!

You might find something here, although I think some of the links need fixing.

Title of the book:
How about "Four Word Film Reviews: The ultimate movie guide for the SMS generation."
Action movie genre - chapter title:
"Four armed, Four warned" - though it sounds a bit daft. :( |

Like most other people, I think it's out of either 3 or 8. I probably prefer 3.
I also have a couple of suggestions, most of which are suitably stupid
Four Word Film Reviews: Ridiculously brief movie descriptions. Four Word Film Reviews: Films summarised in four words. Or sometimes even less. (But never five.) Four Word Film Reviews: For long sentence haters. Four Word Film Reviews: Four those who love wordplay. And movies. Four Word Film Reviews: (That's only this many!)

Y'know, if the title "Four Word Film Reviews" isn't self-explanatory, I doubt a subtitle is going to provide more insight.
Maybe we could make a joke of it then and just have a hilariously pointless and unnecessary subtitle:
Four Word Film Reviews: Film reviews. Four words.
