some Samuel L. Jackson's characters have had it pretty rough, especially when he just went by Sam Jackson.
i figure they deserved some honor. i'm planning to create an accolade of movies in which Jackson's characters were shot, stabbed or killed.
so far, i can think of:
Kiss of Death
True Romance

Revenge of the Sith
Jungle Fever
Goodfellas
Deep Blue Sea
Jurassic Park
Hard Eight
Jackie Brown
Basic
Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (though they don't show him die, i assume he gets slaughtered with everybody else)
there are a bunch more that i think might qualify, but haven't seen or don't remember: Shaft, A Time to Kill, Freedomland, Long Kiss Goodnight, Amos & Andrew, Def By Temptation, Die Hard With A Vengeance, Eve's Bayou, Exorcist III, Rules of Engagement, Twisted, SWAT?

Thanks for ruining all of these films for me - I was planning a Sam Jackson marathon this wednesday and didn't know he died in these - I'm going to have to go to a Steve Buscemi marathon - at least I can count on him making it to the end credits of most the films he's in.
Hope you know I was kidding about the spoiler alert - I know some people get very particular about spoiler alerts and wanted to beat them to the punch sarcastically. |

| Only ruined by the rubbish CGI that plagued that entire film. It looks like a blurry cartoon when he, and everyone else in the film, dies. And the life-sized animatronic sharks were soooo cool... |

| Jackson doesn't die in Exorcist III, but he is already dead in a way as he's in Kinderman's dream of heaven. |
