Dunno what you mean. One film per continent - including Indian sub-continent. Monumental collage trophy - one image per continent.

Apocalypto - S.A.

Death On The Nile - Africa

Kim - India

The Man On The Eiffel Tower - Europe

Mulan - Asia

North By Northwest - N.A.

Apocalypto is not set in South America and the Indian sub-continent is not a continent (the clue's in the name ), but it's up to you of course.

No, you're wrong. FYI There is no definitive definition of how many continents there are or even what they're called. You have learned the contemporary UK version. When I was growing up we were taught there were two "American" continents which were split. N.A. comprised Canada and the USA, S.A. comprised Central America - including Mexico - and the landmass to the south.

I suspect it was a division reflecting the left-over animosity of Mexican-American war. The later inclusion of MesoAmerica into N.A. was a trading convenience.

Apocalypto is set at the end of what's called the Terminal Period of Aztec civilization when no one was talking about such divisions.

I'd already identified India as a sub-continent so no need to get sarky.

You prob'ly won't be able to not reply, so this is to say I won't be posting on your inability to apologize.

B.B., why should I apologise? I simply asked, in a matter-of-fact way, if you didn't want to use examples from each continent. I didn't tell you to do anything and I didn't say anything incorrect. It's your own description that makes a point about "every inhabited continent", which suggests that you are referring to something established on an equivalent basis. And I emphasised the point about India because you said "per continent including the sub-continent", i.e. I was responding to the fact that you were presenting it as counting as a continent. I am well aware that continental definitions vary, but no definition amounts to that set of regions being all of the inhabited continents. (Australia is in Asia-minus-India or no continent at all, presumably? And the North America thing is just silly; you pointed out yourself that it is set long before the ridiculous notion of United States plus Canada as a continent was apparently briefly held, so the only sensible options are a geological basis or the current generally held division, which is pretty much the same thing.) If you want to just have a set of civilisations represented, that's totally fine, but don't get in a strop because I dared not to pretend that six continents were represented.

And please stop this childish tactic of yours, which you have used repeatedly. Why shouldn't I reply? As I've pointed out before, if I don't mind you replying to me but you mind me replying to you, then I'm not the one who has issues about wanting to have the last word. If you don't say anything unreasonable or otherwise inducing a response, then I won't just respond for the sake of it!

I'm rather afraid to make suggestions for this now, but how about the Short Circuits and *Batteries Not Included? Also Flight of the Navigator if the robot doesn't have to be physically separate, and Space Camp: "C-O-M-E-I-N-C-O-N-T-R-O-L COME IN CONTROL!" And is that dog in the Battlestar Galactica film?

How much Vegas required?

Bugsy comes to mind.

Godfather part 2 (the other two might qualify, depending on your criterion)

Owning Mahowny. Most of the gambling is in Atlantic City but some in Vegas.

The Only Game in Town.

And then there's The Las Vegas Story http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0044825/

I'm looking for movies where Vegas is the central location and critical to the story so films like Rain Man don't qualify.

Is this a real accolade or is Josh just in the middle of working on something? It has been there for quite a while.

I have just (within the last minute or two) had a review approved for the last of the 1,007 films in my Cine File accolades!

From many years ago till just before Christmas I had only achieved 2004 and 2005, but for more than six months I've been plugging away at these and it's very satisfying to complete them all.

I was trying to think a way of celebrating but no sets of reviews to vote on seem particularly relevant other than going through all the films (which anyway I've already done).
