I must say, I'm all for the separation of "best awards" for film categories - comedy/musical and drama. Much fairer! Thanks for sharing, randall.

Notice that nobody gave enough of a shit to post the winners. The Globes are of interest to serious Yank cinephiles [remember: it's the Hollywood Foreign Press] only for the live broadcast, b/c that's the only awards show where they serve booze. Jackie Bisset, who singlehandedly saved THE DEEP -- in fairness, double-handedly -- seemed to have lifted her glass for a refill once too often. Long gone are the days of the great drinking actors: Burton, Mitchum, O'Toole, etc.
