Dumb fun, director Emmerich even name-checks his own INDEPENDENCE DAY, you almost know what's gonna happen via the CASTING cards, but I'll watch TWO of these before I try another Michael Bay TRANSFORMERS flick.
Stuff blows up real good, Jamie Foxx is the world's LEAST-convincing POTUS-of-color [bring back Morgan Freeman, or at least Forest Whitaker!], but airbody who deserves to survive, survives, and ain't that what we all want? |
