I went back six pges and couldn't see another thread so here goes...
Richard Gere is playing an older version of Edward Lewis (Pretty Woman) who didn't meet Julia Roberts but instead married his trophy wife (here Susan Sarandon)and builds an empire which has his face on the cover of Forbes. But all is not what it seems and he is challenged to suddenly make deals with everybody in his life for his life.
Gere just doesn't do it for me, Sarandon is wasted and Tim Roth plays a typical burnt out New York cop who just wont let it go.
The funny thing is I still found myself enjoying it because of Jaerecki's excellent direction he kept me compelled to see how Gere's unlikable character ends up.
