TA:MOU = Themed Anniversary: Moving On Up

The Rules

Each Tuesday a theme will be decided based on the Anniversary of some significant event. All you have to do is trawl your reviews for any that relate to that event and post them here with a link.

You can post as many as you wish, so long as either the film or your review clearly relates to the theme. You can only post during the week of the current TA:MOU.

You don't have to say you voted unless you really want to - but you are expected to visit all the links posted.

ON THIS DAY: 19 February
in 1878 Thomas Alva Edison patented the phonograph. Today, TA:MOU spins the vinyl for films that feature recorded music delivery modes.

Please post your reviews for your toe-tapping collection of films set in or around record or other music stores; radio/t.v. disk jockey or music/dance related broadcasts; the Martian top ten

N.B. EDIT - THIS TA:MOU DOES NOT INCLUDE THE GENERIC TITLE MUSICALS! HAIRSPRAY WOULD BE OK, BECAUSE A BIG PART OF THE PLOT INCLUDES A TELEVISION PROGRAM. BUT LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE WOULD NOT BE INCLUDED BECAUSE THE CONTESTANT CHARACTERS ARE PERFORMING "LIVE."

So - Not live music; not rehearsals; not recording studios. Just the stuff that your little live ears get to hear. Sales over process. Type thing. NO, I don't mean literally type the word "thing." Oh, you knew that!

G'wan, share the sounds. Two. Three. Four ...
