TA:MOU = Themed Anniversary: Moving On Up

The Rules

Each Tuesday a theme will be decided based on the Anniversary of some significant event. All you have to do is trawl your reviews for any that relate to that event and post them here with a link.

You can post as many as you wish, so long as either the film or your review clearly relates to the theme. You can only post during the week of the current TA:MOU.

You don't have to say you voted unless you really want to - but you are expected to visit all the links posted.

ON THIS DAY: 12 February
TA:MOU sez Go East, Young Man or Woman!

We don't often spotlight the Far East, but two keylights have been ordered for this week's challenge. Please choose one.

> way back in 660, so tradition has it, Emperor Jimmu founded Japan. So, to save TA:MOU turning into an entire film library - please choose any ONE Japanese director and display your fwfrs for his movies. [I'd say her as well, but I'm not sure there are any - please prove me wrong.] Don't forget to supply subtitles

> 1978 was a remarkable year for China, which finally kicked itself in the butt and lifted a ban on works by Aristotle, Shakespeare, and Dickens. Once again, to save overloading our fwfr server, choose a maxium of three works by any of these authors and let's read your reviews. Yeah, yeah, I know Aristotle's stuff don't exactly feature in features. But please share your literary gems.

[someone give MguyX a poke to read the last item on this list!!!!]
