As I don't have any 0s, I thought I couldn't enter, but now here you are.
By the way, I don't think anyone 'abused' it. Wasn't there just someone new who was overgenerous and voted for all of the reviews?
Whoever it was (new or old) he/she didn't vote for all of the players. I among others did not lose all of my 0 vote reviews. The selectivity made the whole thing a little odder.
Yes, the mysterious "blanket vote" was strangely subjective, which disillusioned us all and forced me to retire the very popular game, since someone elected to tilt it for still unknown reasons. So yes, an innocent game was abused. |

Voted for everyone entered to here. Any more late-comers? |

Oh, I didn't remember that part. I don't think there was any malice in it, but I agree that it takes the enjoyment out of it; however, I feel similarly when, from a thread like this, someone votes for one of the occasional reviews of mine that cannot possibly be understood in isolation. |

I hadn't noticed all of randall's lengthy opening post, so am reposting here in order to comply with the rules. Obviously I don't expect anyone who visited my original link to look at this one, but it would be nice if other people did.
(1) I have read and carefully considered all of the reviews linked to in this thread.
(2) Here are my reviews. |

Well, I still think that it is rather a stretch to call that abuse, but anyway, what on Earth are you talking about here? The over-voting happened in Canklefetish's thing, not yours. |

Not only wouldn't I vote for such a review, but also, were I a MERP, I would never approve one which "cannot possibly be understood in isolation." Evidently the real MERPs disagree with me on this aspect, since those "occasional reviews" do show up, as you have just attested. |

As far as I am concerned, a review which "cannot possibly be understood in isolation." is no review at all.
As it happens I have two reviews in this FYCTH round which are best read in tandem, but each can also be understood in isolation. |
