Four Your Consideration - Treasure Hunt
Seán Sez: Weak or week - you decide!

--> Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
--> Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round.
--> Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later.
--> Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate.
--> You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
--> The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 p.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.

Take all five into the changing room.

Notelets if needed:

> Repo! The Genetic Opera! tunefully features certain state sponsored rental/recall procedures.

> Beneath the Blue documents various naval cover-ups involving the wide-spread phenomenon of cetacean deafness, disorientation - and death as a result of sonar and underwater nuclear testing.

If you're burdened down with trouble
If your nerves are wearing thin
Park your load down the road
And come to Holiday Inn

So here are my notes:
a) It's A Wonderful Life: An angel helps a compassionate but despairingly frustrated businessman by showing what life would have been like if he never existed. Carolyn Grimes plays daughter Zuzu.
b) Joe Versus The Volcano: One of my greatest guilty pleasures. I love this movie! When a hypochondriac learns that he is dying, (from a brain cloud, whatever the heck THAT is) he accepts an offer to throw himself in a volcano at a tropical island, and along the way there, learns to truly live.
c )The Man Who Knew Too Much: A family vacationing in Morocco accidentally stumble on to an assassination plot and the conspirators are determined to prevent them from interfering. Features Doris Day singing "Que Sera, Sera, Whatever will be, will be."
d) The Thomas Crown Affair: A very rich and successful playboy amuses himself by stealing artwork, but may have met his match in a seductive detective.
e) The Twilight Saga: Eclipse:: As a string of mysterious killings grips Seattle, Bella, whose high school graduation is fast approaching, is forced to choose between her love for vampire Edward and her friendship with werewolf Jacob. Bella visits mom in Florida, who gives her a quilt as a graduation gift.

Goonies R Good Enough.

Two excellent films by French animator Michel Ocelot: Kirikou is based on West African folk tales, and Princes et Princesses includes a funny scene in which kisses turn the royals into animals (literally).

Natty Gann travels across the U.S. on the railway.

Real lives: reel lives

NB:
"Helen of Troy" was written by John Twist.
In "Chopper" the infamous Australian criminal has his ears cut off.
Martin Scorsese directed the recent documentary on ex-Beatle George Harrison.
Bettie Page was a famous pin-up girl of the 50s.
Lindsay Lohan plays Elizabeth Taylor in "Liz and Dick".

Sorry, ended up being too busy to enter yesterday.

Two sisters, later aided by Babette, take meals round to their elderly neighbours.

When Piscine Molitor 'Pi' Patel sets off across the sea from India with his family, he has to separate from his beautiful girlfriend.

Ruby Sparks is from Dayton, Ohio. Potential spoiler (here but only obliquely in the review): she has been brought to life from the imagination of another character.
