It's very generous of you to warn the MERPs - I've never really considered that.... |

That's very considerate of you, Beany. I remember years ago, back when there was only one editor, benj told us that he was sitting in a cinema idly judging fwiffs on his laptop when one came up which spoiled the very movie he was about to see! That has to be an occupational hazard for MERPs -- it sure is for me as a fwiffer. I try not to read reviews for current movies I haven't seen.
P.S. I just now got back from seeing SKYFALL [it's fantastic!] and I'll bet I know the plot point your submission spoiled. I still say it's nice of you to warn the editors. |

I'm pretty sure I know what the spoiler is and I haven't seen it (the spoilerisation wasn't from fwfr). You basically have to hibernate if you don't want movies spoiled these days.

Actually, a meta-spoiler is possible [I don't think that's what Beany's referring to, but I'll just have to wait for the approved review to find out], but that "Super-Spoiler" might take much more than four words to explain without getting dinged as "Inaccurate."
At any rate, the picture's just terrific, maybe a little more effective if what I suspect to be Beany's plot point isn't already spoiled for you [it wasn't for me], but even that bit of forewarning can't possibly spoil this splendid production. Few producers can say the following these days: "We assure you, we'll earn your ticket money." Eon Productions can. |

I wouldn't normally warn you guys but because this was such a hugely anticipated film I didn't want to ruin anything about it.
