Here's randall's #853 list.

P.S. I have only four this round b/c I wasn't entirely happy with one that had already gotten two votes, so I changed a bit of orthography and it got thrown back to second pass. If my improved version is approved, I'll re-inflict it upon you, and apolly loggies to those who already bestowed a vote.

P.P.S. Wow! The MERPs restored the new review! I've added it on a second time! The matrix is wonderful! [Or, IS IT!?!?!?]

I'm hoping each of these reviews will remind you of another film with the same star.

Beware of high-calorie food and the Catholic Church!

Hints a la carte:
Mildred Pierce's daughter dislikes mom's menial work baking and selling pies.
Mr. Pancake is the explosives guy in The Ladykillers.
In Invincible, a Jewish strongman's stage routine irks his Nazi audience.
Ben Affleck and Jerry Bruckheimer: horrible, just harborrible.
John Carpenter's vampire hunters are sponsored by the Catholic Church
.

The protagonist's calendar idea is to depict a series of catastrophes: it is not very well received.

The Rosenthal Suite is a remake of My Best Friend.

The sisters are Iris and Hannah.

Edgar Allan Poe had to deal with reactionary criticism in real life and this is reflected in the film. If hyphenated, the first two words would make a phrase.
