Four Your Consideration - Treasure Hunt
Seán Says: Time and tide wait for no man. Women, of course, get special treatment.

--> Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
--> Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round.
--> Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later.
--> Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate.
--> You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
--> The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 p.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.

Let's get this show on the fwfr road!

Instruction manual sez -
> Cusack plays Lane Meyer, who makes various life alterations.

> Stephen Dorff plays a Jew traversing some Middle East nations.

> Kitten Braden's a tranny.

> Director Richard Bare's short sounds like an instruction manuel. Well, he's just asking for it, innit?!

> Comedy adventure credits "Yul Perrkins a.k.a. Charles Bronson."

Once more into the void ...

So here are my notes:
a) Jonestown: The Life And Death Of Peoples Temple: An oldie about Jonestown.
b) National Treasure: The Book Of Secrets: Treasure hunter Benjamin Franklin Gates looks to discover the truth behind the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, by uncovering the mystery within the 18 pages missing from assassin John Wilkes Booth's diary.
c) The Guys: Moving and thoughtful story of a fire captain who lost eight men in the collapse of the World Trade Center and the editor who helps him prepare the eulogies he must deliver.
d) Cliffhanger: Stallone is a mountain rescuer whose film peaks with the opening sequence.
e) Crimes Of The Heart: Three sisters with quite different personalities and lives reunite when the youngest of them, Babe, has just shot her husband. Babe (Sissy Spacek) spends a lot of time ruminating over their mother's suicide, wherein she hung the cat. I love this film.

Documentaries: marijuana and movie-making.

A pothead documents thirty days of smoking weed non-stop and thirty days clean, to compare the effects of both.

Side By Side explores the process and future of traditional photochemical film versus digital filmmaking techniques.

Labor Day weekend reviews - help celebrate these occupations.

Notes:
In Preston Sturges's The Great McGinty, a tramp is elevated to the Governor's seat by corrupt politicians, but then he decides to be honest...

Errol Flynn is a flight surgeon in Dive Bomber, researching pilots' tendencies to black out when their planes dive.

Cary Grant is an advertiser who makes unusual requests to the builders of his dream house.
