Four Your Consideration - Treasure Hunt
Seán Says: I can hardly wait!

--> Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
--> Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round.
--> Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later.
--> Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate.
--> You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
--> The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.

Such larks! Not to mention sea creatures ...

I think you'll get the rest, but in
The Last Ride, there's a WWII scam involving rationed vehicle tires [which the Brits spell tyres ... go figure!]

bank hol

The eponymous paedophile in Michael keeps a boy he's abducted locked up in his cellar.
The Convincer (released as Thin Ice, I think) is about an insurance scam involving a violin.

Hi dee ho!!

So here are my notes:
a) Jonestown: The Life And Death Of Peoples Temple: Finally a place for this review!!! Jim Jones was from Indiana.
b) The Shop Around The Corner: Predecessor of You've Got Mail. Don't know if I like this one better, but it differs little except there's no internet to speak of!
c) The Bourne Legacy: No Jason Bourne, no Matt Damon. How's this Bourne?
d) The Odd Life Of Timothy Green: A childless couple bury a box in their backyard, containing all of their wishes for an infant. Soon, a child springs forth, as planted.
e) Anatomy of a Murder: Laura Manion returns home to tell her husband she's been raped. Lt. Manion kills the rapist and then claims crime of passion as a defense. At least that's his story. Paul Biegler agrees to defend him and must unravel a case in which the motivations of the murderer, his wife, and the victim are all in question. Key evidence - her panties.

The play's the thing

NB:
In "Heaven Can Wait" Don Ameche plays a incurable womaniser explaining his life at the gates of hell.
In "A Streetcar Named Desire" brutal Stanley is called a pig several times.
In "Bus Stop" Don Murray plays Bo Decker - a bachelor cowboy travelling to a rodeo and looking for a wife.
Irene Papas plays the title role in "Antigone".
In Cormac McCarthy's two-hander "The Sunset Limited" the characters are called Black and White.

Click for this week's musical selections.

Liner notes:
Anthony Mann directed Border Incident, about Mexican migrant workers illegally transported into California.
In The Dark Crystal, the restoration of a crystal shard is necessary to end the rule of those deplorable Skeksis.

P.S. Think Chuck Berry for the Border Incident review, if that helps.

Because it's his legacy? Wild guess.
