Four Your Consideration - Treasure Hunt
Sen Says: View longa, review brevis.

--> Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
--> Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round.
--> Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later.
--> Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate.
--> You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
--> The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.

Lemmy in for #846.

Vertigo has deposed Citizen Kane as "the greatest film of all time" in the latest Sight & Sound poll.

My Vertigo review is meant to evoke Proust and his madeleine cake.

To Have and to Hold, set in Papua New Guinea, echoes Vertigo.

In Strange Bedfellows, two Australian straight men have to pass as a gay couple to deceive a snoopy income tax inspector.

Red Skelton's cabbie in The Yellow Cab Man is named Pirdy.

All the fun of the fair.

Read the small print if you wanna ...
> Woogie has a particular fetish
> Holiday songs by a certain Irving
> Hilary's boxed, now she's chopped
> Lovely John Keats likened reading Chapman's Homer to a certain explorer's sight of "a peak in Darien." These jr. spies share his name.
> Beardy Bates is holed up in a barn and the kids think he's the son of god, so they take good care of him.

To the Copenhagen policeman assigned to South Jutland in Frygtelig Lykkelig, the dialect word mojn (pronounced moin), meaning both hello & goodbye, symbolises his unhappy exile. Even his cat seems to say it.

Recent, current, future

NB:
"Killer Joe", directed by William Friedkin, has a memorably unpleasant scene with a KFC drumstick.
Terrible "Colombiana" was directed by Olivier Megaton.
Bruin: another word for a bear.
