Each Tuesday a theme will be decided based on the Anniversary of some significant event. All you have to do is trawl your reviews for any that relate to that event and post them here with a link.
You can post as many as you wish, so long as either the film or your review clearly relates to the theme. You can only post during the week of the current TA:MOU.
You don't have to say you voted unless you really want to - but you are expected to visit all the links posted.
ON THIS DAY: 17 July
in 1898, George Robert ("Bob") Vincent was born. (July 17, 1898 - November 13, 1985)
Who? I hear you ask ... "hear" being the appropriate word.
Turns out Bob was a pioneer in the field of sound recording and archiving. So even though he didn't work on any films, without his early experimentation the cinema would be a quiet place indeed!
Let's pay homage to him with your fwfrs for films which have won Best Sound Oscars. Don't forget to stay in synch - which isn't the same as staying in the sink.
To isolate a review for a film in the new site first choose the "mine" filter on the film page, then hold the mouse button down over your review for two seconds - the address for your review will then drop down which you can right click to copy and paste.
