TA:MOU = Themed Anniversary: Moving On Up
The Rules
Each Tuesday a theme will be decided based on the Anniversary of some significant event. All you have to do is trawl your reviews for any that relate to that event and post them here with a link.
You can post as many as you wish, so long as either the film or your review clearly relates to the theme. You can only post during the week of the current TA:MOU.
You don't have to say you voted unless you really want to - but you are expected to visit all the links posted.
ON THIS DAY: 3 July
we mark the birthdays of three American musical legends: George M Cohan, Ruth Crawford Seeger, and Mississipi John Hurt. Let's strike up the band with your choice of films that feature any one of the three genres which this trio represents. Live action only! Musicals, folk, and country blues.
Technically TA:MOU is meant to focus on a particular date, but I'm gonna bend the rules by also offering a July 4th option! So fly the flag for any of your fwfrs about films with a US Independence Day theme.
To isolate a review for a film in the new site first choose the "mine" filter on the film page, then hold the mouse button down over your review for two seconds - the address for your review will then drop down which you can right click to copy and paste.

It does indeed- you can only isolate one review at a time in separate links. If you have loads for one film that is indeed a drag... I only have three at most for any one film. I don't know if there's a solution to that in the works, or whether that's something us TA:MOU compilers have to accept... |

I have a special request for the returning TAMOU mistress. I'm away till Tuesday working abroad but have old and new reviews to share. Can I submit a day late, pretty please? :) |

But of course, dear traveller. In fact, why don't we move the deadline to Thursday ... who knew there were so many musicals, tra-la!
BTW - thanks for link tip. I say we go on strike -- unfair to TA:MOUers.

Fellow TA:MOUians, I will be out of commission until Friday. Fear not, all reviews will be savoured upon my return. |

Well chums - due to lemmy's temporary absence -- I assume for his daughter's wedding - AND demonic's entry being tainted by animation - I'm leaving this topic open till next Tuesday.
Harsh but fair
lemmy, just remember, you're not losing a daughter, you're gaining a negative bank balance
Thank you for the music ...
