Sen Says: Calling all Lords of the Zings!

--> Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
--> Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round.
--> Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later.
--> Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate.
--> You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
--> The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.

Stalean's #831

Thanks to all who voted for my five last round, you were paid in kind.

Let Me In
The storyline doesn't say that Owen's mother is always praying and has religious symbols and images throughout their apartment. Also, think John Irving's "A Prayer for Owen Meany."

Lemmy in for #831.

Genesis of Chicago.

Charles Gray did the priceless deadpan narration as the Criminologist in The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Brief Encounters.

FYI:
The animators of Lord of the Rings employed rotoscoping.
In Phantom of the Paradise, Swan is an evil music producer.

I have at long last seen The Gods Must Be Crazy: it's strangely compelling. Anyway, the ! in N!xau represents one of the ingressive plosives of his language.

The Queen Has No Crown is about all of the sons of an Israeli family going to live abroad.

Argentinian Lesson is a documentary about a teacher and her family moving there for two years to share her language with the descendants of Polish immigrants. It is absolutely beautiful: I cannot recommend it highly enough.

VV!

Thanks for the votes! Bit disappointed that Baugart didn't go a bit better though - I liked that one.
