"Long mired in film"

Thought it time to bring back this old favourite.
It was last introduced by Sean in 2005 when he said:
"This thread is for noting reviews that you think have been missed by other users and deserve more votes. In theory, it should only be used for promoting 1-vote reviews, but what's a vote or two between friends. Not for self-promotion though, leave that for FYCTH."
So to start things off and also recognize our joy at the return of noncentz I submit his review for Agnes of God--stigmata becomes suspicious habit.

The review is in the second row.
Let's see your nominations. |

Not really.
I wanted to revive the old "Best review with only my vote" thread. I searched the active and archived Forum threads.
That search uncovered three threads, the latest started by Sean:
Bife: http://www.fwfr.com/fourum/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=470&SearchTerms=best,review,with,only,my,vote
Bife: http://www.fwfr.com/fourum/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=1272&SearchTerms=best,review,with,only,my,vote
Sean: http://www.fwfr.com/fourum/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=2179&SearchTerms=best,review,with,only,my,vote
The fact that there are other similarly-intentioned threads with different names does not affect the accuracy of my statement in the first post.
Still it's nice to see you want to get into the spirit and play. |

I can't get to the other links Lemmy posted here, and search only got me to this one. So, revamping to point out Markandlain's brilliant Oliver! review (fifth most recent as of this posting).

I dont get it. Obviously I get the reference to insufficient gruel, but does the phrasing allude to something else? |

Whippersnapper has dozens of reviews for Christopher Reeve: Courageous Steps. One of his best has only my vote--Back issues of 'Superman'.
