Just a note to let you know that my friend Kennetha, who is still recovering from the liver transplant, was injured in an auto accident yesterday - broke BOTH of her ankles. They are transferring her to Cincinnati tomorrow so she can be closer to her liver doctor. Her oldest grandson was driving her car and hit the accelerator instead of the brake. I don't know WHAT I'm going to do with her!!! |

They are actually going to transfer her to a rehab center today since the liver doctor thought it would be best. She can't go home yet, her husband just can't lift and tote her around like she needs for now and this way there will be therapists to keep her exercised and her health care continued like it should be. |

I'll call her later this evening when she's had time to settle in. The first thing she said to me was "My poor Bradley!!" I thought I'd call him in a couple of days to see how he's doing. These are the times I really miss my driver's license! |

Oh how horrible. For both of you. Please relay all my best wishes and give her a hug from me. Gosh, her poor grandson, too - imagine carrying that around with you for the rest of your life.
