I know you are crazy busy and could do without more suggestions for changing the site but....
would it be possible / feasable to have an area where we could put draft reviews that we are working on but they are not yet ready for submission?
If it's not possible just say so and I will keep using notepad, but I am not always at the same machine
I imagine it to be stored in a table like the new approved, declined etc on a tab on the my fwfr page.
would be really useful for me at least I don't know anyone elses opinion.
Cheers

Posted - 01/21/2009 : 15:16:14 I keep all mine in the Akashic records.
Technically speaking though, if everyone kept their reviews in the collective subconscious there is a chance that others could steal your reviews. But ethereally speaking, that act of theft would also be recorded which does create a kind of failsafe. |

Posted - 01/21/2009 : 15:00:53 Yeah like demonic I've got a huge list of stuff in a text document, but having a place to do that on the site would be really cool. I think the submission cap certainly means you have to consider your submissions more; I always end up writing down loads and then going through and picking the best for submission, so it'd be quite handy to have that on the site.

Posted - 01/21/2009 : 01:18:29 I've got a 'FWFR' note on my desktop that I use as my scribble pad, but one on site isn't a bad idea... mainly for the way reviews change in your mind when you actually get to see them on the site. |

Posted - 01/19/2009 : 10:32:51 No, I misunderstood you.
It is an interesting idea. A place to put a bunch of reviews to the side until you decide which ones you want to submit might be a good idea, actually.
It would help especially when we're suddenly inspired and have already submitted our 20 reviews for that week.

Of course, we could just use this thread to get help with some of our reviews, as well.
Sorry Chocky,
I don't know if I follow, what I was suggesting was an area that would be for the individual and would place no extra effort on the work load of anybody, I was not advocating having a public arena or a discussion area.
If I have misunderstood what you are saying then sorry, hop this clears up any issues.

Posted - 01/19/2009 : 00:24:55 This would be more useful now than when it was suggested in the past, as some approvals are so quick. I often amend pending reviews after they have been sitting at the back of my mind, and find that now some get approved before I have been able to perfect them. |
