Wow. About 11 days went by there with no new approvals. I just logged in and didn't notice for the first few minutes. I'm a bit choked up. And having it announced by the mguy with the #1 review on the site... overwhelming.
A really nice exercise was to poke through the statuses page and appreciate how many reviewers I think of as "headliners" are not in the top 100 by total reviews. I see everyone from Movie Buff on up as people who have really committed themselves to the task. Seeing the familiar names there and knowing what joy their work has brought me makes me feel like Roger Corman next to a lot of Milos Forman talents (no offense if you loved The Saga of the Viking Women and Their Voyage to the Waters of the Great Sea Serpent).
I'll tell my wife the news.
She'll roll her eyes.
So, uh, yeah, back to work now.
