I'm drawing a blank for this. Does anyone remember scenes in Mary Reilly, Michael Collins, Closer, or Charlie Wilson's War where Julia Roberts is in scenes with horses?

So do films where their non-existence is mentioned count?

Ah, Notting Hill. But there are horses in that movie - when she's filing the period piece there are pleanty of them there.

Well, OK, how about "Sleeping With The Enemy"?

I'm sure I noticed a sea-horse in the boat scene.

No, that was Patrick Bergin's cold and shriveled... erm... yeah, you know.

Well, it almost features horse at both ends of the chain.

Only if their non-existence is reinforced by a picture of Julia Roberts riding a horse somewhere on the set.

Well, if their existence was mentioned but they weren't seen I could understand omitting it, but here it's their non-existence which is mentioned, so it's almost like them being there, dontcha think?

Well, gee, I don't know. I think they should physically be there... I resisted the temptation to use the picture of the braying horse and the quote from Stepmom (She's okay if you like big teeth...)/

Oh, right - sounds like a cool acc!

Can't be sure about the others, but I'm pretty sure there are no horses in Closer ... and none I can recall in Charlie Wilson's War. But I could be wrong!

Good luck with it.

LOL, well I was pretty sure the Mongolia one would have horses. I'm working on an accolade and I've already got Conspiracy Theory, Dying Young, Grand Champion, Pretty Woman, Runaway Bride, Something To Talk About, and Stepmom. It seemed to me like Julia and horses seem to pop up often in films. I just wasn't sure about the ones I mentioned!

Well, she's definitely among horses in Something To Talk About in which she manages the stables of her dad Robert Duvall.

And of course there are horses in her PBS special:
"Wild Horses of Mongolia with Julia Roberts"

Hope that helps!
