Posted - 08/06/2008 : 00:42:50 I don't know if this has been done here before (I got the idea from an old issue of Games magazine). The idea is to come up with a two (or three) word description of a role, where the first letter of each word of the description matches the initials of the character OR the actor who played the role. For example:
Mafia Boss = M.B. = Marlon Brando
Here an easy one to start with:
Lightsaber Swashbuckler

Posted - 05/10/2009 : 03:03:07 That'll be Forest Whitaker in "The Color of Money". Took me a while as I was trying to work out who FW was in "The Hustler".
Regarding the ADR you did on Alien - I find it fascinating. For one thing it's an entirely memorable moment for me - an utterly chilling one in fact - all the more powerful because it's only heard (more than the now slightly silly and dated chestburster - a guaranteed laugh as the penile lump of plastic is propelled across the table on barely concealed wires). What interests me is that from an actor's perspective I'd be a bit put out that I didn't get to voice my own demise in a feature film - but I know it's common practice. I wonder what VC thought when she heard herself dying knowing she didn't really do it (although the vocal match is excellent as I recall.)
Back to the game!

Yeah, I hate those curved dicks!
OK ... how's about: Talented Child. which might also be: Talent Competition.
Doesn't feel quite right because Toni Collette is neither the child or in the competition in Little Miss Sunshine, but I have to make that guess just in case!
You're right! She HAS a talented child and is a big factor in the competition. But let's face it, my brain is still suffering from the Great Powell Lesion. Yrs sincerely Eleanor and Jane Powell

Not unless Dick Powell stood in for William Powell.
See what happens when you get VERY old? slinks into corner and hides in cardboard box ...
It's when you start mixing him up with Colin or Enoch that we really start getting worried about you. |
