When you call up a film on IMDB now, it gives 5 recommendations with the words "If you enjoyed this title, our database also recommends..."

I called up "Citizen Kane" and one of the 5 recommendations was "Batman".

Tell us about other weird recommendations here!

'Being Michael Madsen' brought up 'Bambi II'.

I have found that on DVDs, the recs are usually other works by the director, writer or actors and have NOTHING to do with content. I've come across some funny ones. :)

Okay, this is the oddest list I've found so far:

For K-PAX:
  • The Godfather Trilogy
  • Stir of Echoes
  • Once Upon a Time in America
  • Angel Heart???

OR

Anger Management:
  • Beyond the Valley of the Dolls
  • The Woodsman
  • Fight Club

If you like the "Curious George" TV show, you would also like "The Apprentice!"

Somebody likes L.A. Confidential, lots of movies lead to that one.

And apparently if you liked West Side Story you should try Kill Bill Volume 1.
