At least in the Northern Hemisphere, we're into the dog days of summer. So let us bid adieu to man's best friend. Any "Man's best friend", that is. From Rin Tin Tin to Lassie to Old Yeller to Benji to Beethoven, dogs have always been an integral part of movies.
Take any famous movie dog or dogs, and put them to sleep.
If needed, you can identify the mutt and the movie in which it was featured outside the four word limit. I have my idea, but I'll, as usual when I suggest the category, wait about a day before posting. |

Every dog has its day, and I guess mine was today! I didn't think I had a dog's chance to win with sooo many good entries. I'm as happy as a flea in a doghouse! I'll be puttin' on the dog tonight and celebrating my good fortune. Enough of these dog idioms. Well, maybe one more.  Quick as a dog can lick a dish, I'll be back with a new victim.  |
