And the fest season gets going. Here is your pathway to all things Sundance [Baffy: click on the panel "2014 Program Guide" for info on the films and schedules].
I will head out next Wednesday for my annual trip and will fly back on the redeye Sunday night, but not before I've seen as many flicks as my eyeballs can stand. One of the emerging areas of importance is docs: a Sundance premiere [SEARCHING FOR SUGAR MAN] won the Oscar a year ago, and most of this year's category nominees were first seen in Park City.
My annual report will show up a week or two later, should you be interested. Actually, it'll show up whether you're interested or not. |

All I know for sure at this point is six or seven flix that I and/or Linda will see on Wed and Thur. If all goes well,

Then we'll go into the weekend, when we have more flexible passes that let us go anywhere we want. Once again, consult the website linked upstairs for info on any of these flicks.
Baffy: SPIRIT OF '45 is available for rent on Netflix, that's it.
EDIT, late 1/20: Scratch the first three at least. They've cancelled our flight out of JFK because of an impending winter storm. Now we're nail-bitin...more as ETD gets closer. |

Always interested in your cine-takes! Can't wait and have a wonderful trip. Speaking of docos, has The Spirit of '45 been released over there yet ... Loach at his objective finest
