Thanks. Yes, it really is. Mental health seems to be in crisis these days. I had no idea that he was suffering. He was upbeat and successful (own home and business, which he talked about very warmly). Still hard to take in. |

Moments after he has read the letter, she is back. Interesting discussions follow--Gabrielle is no angel. Based on a Joseph Conrad novella.
Newly elected U.S. senator Jeff Keane (Lionel Barrymore) is intent on cleaning up Washington. Similar in theme to Capra�s great Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.
