--> Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list. --> Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round. --> Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later. --> Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate. --> You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants. --> The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 p.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.
Don't think anyone did this one yet (course I've been away for awhile)

Posted - 04/06/2013 : 17:06:35 Yes, I suppose I could have written "Hindustani" for absolute accuracy, but did check and was happy to take the advice of a language website that "at a spoken level there are few significant differences between Urdu and Hindi and they could be considered varieties of a single language" and go for the less accurate but more familiar, better fitting word. |

The I.M.D.B. says that it's in Urdu, not Hindi. They're admittedly very similar, but still...

Our Internet was down all yesterday, so I wasn't able to vote. I'll visit all the links here and not enter the next round.

Posted - 04/04/2013 : 05:00:41 Viewed and voted but this round had a lot of movies for which I had little reference. Nice to be back. Trying to write reviews again after being mostly absent last few years.

Posted - 04/03/2013 : 19:47:08 Not a spoiler for Cloud Atlas, but better to know nothing about it before reading/watching: It's about a soul reincarnated in different periods.
Spoiler for Looper: The fatally telekinetic child is played by Pierce Gagnon. (I wish I'd combined this with my other review but I didn't think of it until I posted that one here.
Clarence Avant is very evasive when interviewed about some missing money. |
