NB: The 1971 "Antony and Cleopatra" stars Hildegarde Neil as the Egyptian Queen. The BBC version of "A&C" stars Ian Charleson as Octavius Caesar, and Alan Howard and Charles Grey in the title roles of Coriolanus and Julius Caesar. And a side note - Titus gets his revenge by cooking the children of his enemy into a pie. |

FYI: Fires on the Plain was written by Natto Wada. It's an extremely bleak story of starving Japanese soldiers at the end of WWII. Sammi Davis and her family must move to the countryside once the Germans begin bombing London.
