The Rules
Each Tuesday a theme will be decided based on the Anniversary of some significant event. All you have to do is trawl your reviews for any that relate to that event and post them here with a link.
You can post as many as you wish, so long as either the film or your review clearly relates to the theme. You can only post during the week of the current TA:MOU.
You don't have to say you voted unless you really want to - but you are expected to visit all the links posted.
ON THIS DAY: 24 July
in 1924, Archeologist Themistoklis Sofoulis assumed his post as Prime Minister of Greece. So, in light of the Olympic Games whose origin was Greek, and the country's current financial chaos, let's see your fwfrs for films which are entirely or mostly set in Greece, or on any of its islands. Ancient or modern are both good.
If that doesn't inspire you, here in Yer-up today's date is 24/7 - a phrase which has come to mean all day, every day. So if you have any films that depict Open All Hours, bring 'em on. Just don't wake the neighbours!
