Objective: Immediately following the completion of my PhD in September 2009, I went on paternity leave to look after my new son, Cormac. Mac's the kind of kid who likes to sleep on his father's chest, so armed with the Movie Network and a PVR, I have watched a surprisingly large number of movies with my sleeping boy. Additionally, the new frontier of Mummy and Me sessions at the cinema and hazily viewed airline screens on longhaul flights means that new releases can now be added! As he's become older, he's no longer sleeping on my chest while these films play, but any film that I watch with him sleeping in the next room (and often waking for attention in the middle of) are also included - in case you think I'm a bad parent for subjecting my son to Mad Max!
