Objective: Miklos Laszlo wrote a little play. That play became the movie "Shop Around the Corner". The play was made into a staged musical, called "She Loves Me" which was also made into a movie by the same name. Hollywood made their own musical of the play and called it "In the Good Old Summertime". Lastly, this story was updated to the electronic age and made in to the film "You've Got Mail". Now, I wouldn't say that this qualifies as an obsession, but certainly these varied versions deserve an accolade of their own.
