To help mark my recently being granted British citizenship, here's a jolly olde theme.

And what could be more English than a British Beefeater! Also called Yeoman of the Guard, this 15th century tradition lives on.

I came in in case anyone from thus game hadn't already join in here, but now that I'm here I may as well enter.

I was a bit confused at first because it said it was about the English but turned out to be based on something British.

I very strongly identify as being British as opposed to English, and also with Great Britain as opposed to the United Kingdom, partly because I was born in Wales and partly because I love islands. My avatar is thus the flag from before the 1801 Union with Ireland, which I for that reason always use in my classes to represent speaking English &c. (also because it is closer to the Basque flag).
